Rules & policies
A few simple guidelines keep Sunset Shores quiet, clean, and a great place to call home on Lake Conroe. Questions about any of these? Just call us at (936) 890-1587.
Check-In & Check-Out
- Check-in time is 10:00 AM; arrival must be prior to 4:00 PM.
- Check-out is by 2:00 PM — an additional day is charged after 2:00 PM.
- Rents are due and payable in advance.
Rates & Refunds
- Rates are subject to change without notice.
- No refunds.
- Management assumes no responsibility for accidents, injuries, or loss from any cause.
- This is a monthly-lease community (30-day minimum). Applications are reviewed and approved by the owner.
Guests
- Generally limited to 2 guests per site; larger groups require prior management approval.
- Visitor passes are required for all vehicles.
- An additional $10.00 per person charge applies for overnight guests.
Pets
- Maximum 2 pets per site.
- Pets must be kept on a short leash at all times when outside the RV, and owners must clean up after them.
- Pets must be kept inside except when being walked, in the designated dog-walk area only, and never left unattended.
- Pets are not allowed in the pool or pavilion areas.
- No Rottweilers, Pit Bulls, or aggressive animals.
Parking & Vehicles
- Park only at your site — not in the streets or on the grass next to RV sites.
- Extra and second-vehicle parking is available on the west side of the park entrance or in the pool/pavilion parking lot.
Washing Vehicles
- Washing of vehicles is strictly prohibited.
- Permission must be obtained from the office 24 hours in advance.
Boats & Trailers
- No boats or trailers of any kind are allowed in the RV park.
- Waterfront sites 8–32 may moor a boat; boat storage is $10/day.
Pool & Pavilion
- Children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
- No one under the age of 16 is allowed in the hot tub.
- No pets in the pool or pavilion areas.
Laundry Room
- Limit of 2 washers or 2 dryers per person.
- Do not leave laundry unattended.
Garbage Collection
- Do not leave trash out at your site all day or night.
- Place garbage out before 9:00 AM for collection.
Site & Lawn Maintenance
- All hoses, including sewer and water, must be kept on a rack above ground at all times.
- Keep your site neat and tidy.
RV Requirements
- RVs must meet Texas state requirements and be in good repair.
