Sunset Shores RV Park

I have been a resident of Sunset Shores for 4 yrs. The Management is outstanding. The grounds are always immaculate. (Excluding hurricane season)😁 Please do not base your decisions of living here on previous comments. There are "turd birds" in all communities. I love it here! Great Community! - 11/17/2024

I had the opportunity to stay there for a little bit due to the hurricane the staff was amazing the manager her name started with a C. Was great. My spot was awesome. The laundry rooms were very clean and all machines worked perfectly. The pool looked very refreshing, but unfortunately didn’t get to use it. The people that live. There was unbelievable kind and nice. I wish I could’ve stayed there longer. I would definitely recommend this place. I cannot believe how nice this place was after having a hurricane they quickly cleaned up the place and got it back to normal. We did have a small hiccup with no water. Must’ve had a water problem but they did get it up and running for early quick things happen. I also got my deposit back with no hesitation. They give the full deposit back quickly and fast, if I am looking for a short term place to live with my camper, I would definitely check this place out. I want to give a shout out to Sunset Shores RV Park on Lake Conroe. I literally moved in the day before the flooding began. Yesterday, the management spent the entire day with tractors normally used for the boat launch moving everyone with lakeside spots out of the way of the rising waters. They even spent hours helping those with dead batteries or couldn't get their slides in. I met alot of my new neighbors and everyone was fantastic. The sense of community here and the truly caring management is truly impressive. Glad to call this my new home! - 5/04/2024 

Very nice Kristen in the office is wonderful very helpful and great respect for the guests. We have stayed at a few parks prior but they can’t compare. Love the shade by the lake and the peaceful atmosphere. Best park in the area. Only downside is that 1097 is like a freeway people need to watch the speed. Instead of zipping down at high speeds. Or cutting around you as your trying to turn into the park. And they don’t put up with drama in the park. - 12/13/2023

This is by far the best RV Park in the area. They only take Month to Month reservations but our stay here was wonderful. Very clean, spacious sites and very friendly people. Wish we could have been here longer but life happens and we had to go. If we are ever back in the area we will definitely return. - 9/18/2022

Have enjoyedvstaying here twice , for a Holiday month each time. Nice for a lot of reasons, but flooding/standing water has been an issue. They have taken steps to improve this, but standing water during our second visit (November-December 2018) ruined a $350 surge protector!We won't be staying there again! - 4/08/2020

We have stayed at two parks in the Lake Conroe area & this one is definitely better. I give it 3 stars because we have actually stayed in some really nice RV parks in other towns & this one is average compared to them but actually seems to be one of the best ones in the area.Nice pool & laundry. Nice employees. Would highly recommend in the summer to make sure your lot has a tree in it for shade or you will struggle to keep cool. Nice view of the lake. Some of their porch options don't seem worth the extra money, glad we didn't opt for that. Also they need to get better at making the full timers there to take all their stuff inside. It has the potential to look like a trailer park because some sites are loaded down with stuff & looks cluttered.It is a nice RV park for the area & would recommend it for Lake Conroe stays. I reserved a site for my in-laws last week. We wanted them to have the best since they were traveling so far to come see us. They absolutely loved the park. Waterfront site and sunsets were beautiful. The whole park, showers and pool are spotless. Employees are friendly and helpful. All of the rv tenants are so nice and keep their sites looking great. - 4/08/2017 

We love it here. Staff is helpful and pleasant. The pool and spa are cleaned regularly. The laundry is rather iffy😞. Just let them know and they come and get it going again without an attitude. The valet boat launch from the boat storage is a plus and the fishing in the lake is great. Nobody hassles you about much of anything. The neighbors are friendly and a fish fry at "Ronnie's corner" is awesome! Our dog is happy here and always treated well. There are children here who are lovely and very friendly and respectful. Our plants and yard ornaments are no problem. I couldn't be happier with this RV park!😂 - 4/08/2017

Nice park. Plenty of space. Most longterm residents seem to keep spots tidy. After reading a couple reviews we were disappointed in being unable to watch the fights at the "corner". Every evening we walked by the folks there were enjoying a potluck. They invited us, but we just dined. The manager seemed open to constructive criticism. None about the park, just some rule benders.
